I am always on the lookout for a fun way to try new things that cities have to offer. My husband was actually the one that found the FIKA Passport for Denver. It’s basically a passbook you purchase for $20 that has a number of coffee shops in the area where you then get 2 drinks for the price of 1. I really liked the idea of this book mostly because of the recommendations taking me to neighborhoods I may not otherwise venture to and saving time researching places to go. It was also cute in that you get stamps at each shop just like a real passport. Full disclaimer, I am not a coffee drinker but love the atmosphere of coffee shops so was game to try out a few even if my husband would be the one drinking all the goods.

Our first stamp was at Little Owl Coffee in downtown. I ended up stealing the vanilla latte away from my husband because it was soooo delicious!!

The place itself was small but cute with a little outdoor patio. I’d consider it more of a place to grab a cup of coffee to go than one to sit and lounge which worked well with our plans of exploring the downtown area that day.

We are looking forward to trying some more new places and seeing where our passbook takes us next!
